Changing Projects so this one is for sale.

For sale 1928 or 1929 model A frame complete with rear axle and front-end. Missing driver spindle. Will need sandblasted but all there and in good condition.

Also for sale a 1948 flathead V8 out of a 1948 fire truck. Was rebuilt in the late 90's and removed from the truck and stored inside in the early 00's. in great shape just waiting for a new hot rod project.

Will ship but both items are a truck shipment and will not be cheap.
Local pickup is preferred.

Looking for 500 each or 900 sold together also will look at trade offers or best offers.
Contact me at [email protected] or 225 773 5272
thanks

Did you mean Model T? Typo maybe?

No model A's were produced in 1918 or 1919 that I'm aware of. Sounds like a good start of a rat rod whatever it is.

Matt you are correct. The model T was 1908-1927 and the model A was 1928-1932

Also the most preferred engine for a flathead was the 8BA (1949-1953)

Corrected it is a 28 or 29.

I wish it was a bit closer to me. I'd like to have a project like this.I've heard that the Model A's have a stronger frame than the Model T's. Does that hold truth?

Good luck on the sale. Free bump to the top.

correction 1928-1931

Well, the Model A Ford production did not end until March of 1932 and then the Model B Ford took its place and the only difference was a counter weighted crank in the 4 cylinder engine. Also 1932 was the first Flathead V/8 engine.
