Flex Plate

I need to replace the flex plate in my 87 k5 with a 700r4 and a stock 350.
Do I go with a $25 stock replacement or the $85 heavy duty flex plate. Is there that much of a difference ?

I just replaced the flexplate on my 82 or 83 350. Not sure excatly what year it is. I used a 50 dollar one from summit racing. Seems to be working good so far. I got one that was rated for street/strip use which is a little stronger than a stock one. Should last a while

Thanks, middle of the road sounds good, an extra 25 bucks is worth not having to do it again
