Flexibe hydraulic brake line ?

The race truck I was involved with had no hard brake lines in it, was 100% flexible line and it worked good.

If you used 4000 psi rated hydrailuc hose with double steel braid it might not affect the pedal feel...

When I worked at a store that made hydraulic hoses,I was forbidden to make any that the customer said were going to be used on a vehicle's braking system, due to liability issues...unless the customer lied,we would not make "brake" hoses, even if they signed a waiver...

I'm not sure they would be legal on a street vehicle due to no DOT approval too...personally I'd have no trouble using that type of hose instead of metal tubing that'll rust thru in 2-3 years ,it cant be any worse or more unsafe than rotted flaky OEM brake tubing !...

This

I run a big mix of hard and flex lines. I'm sure there is a bit of difference if I replaced some of the flex line with hard line but there can't be much.

With the new line tech out these days I would say a good flex line won't be a big issue. However hardline is way more durable and only a little harder to run.
