Flexible circuit repair in gauge cluster

83913325-7575-40B5-9CB3-46D88915F40B.jpeg Replaced all of my dash lights last weekend,but still had a problem,so I took it apart again,this is what I found,I have ordered some thin copper foil to fix this,has anyone come across this before and if you have how did you fix it ?
 
I usually just clean the plastic off of the copper, on each side, and solder a small wire across the gap. A little 2 part epoxy to glue it down.
 
I see that it is right where the bulb goes, so the copper foil should work. Solder it on either side. Use a very small soldering gun.
 
Keeep that in mind,may be a easy repair with a product that brushes on
