I was attempting to bolt up the torque convertor to the flexplate. And the holes are off by a bit so the bolt will not go through...

any info as to why? I believe 163 teeth and Chevy 350 with TH350

I assume everything I just put together, engine/tranny drive line have to come out?

really loosing patience with this “project”. Kinda not fun when every nut, bolt, washer, everything else fight you.

There are a few different hole sets for the bolts to go into on the flexplate/flywheel. So just rotate your flexplate/flywheel until it reaches the holes that will align with the torque convertor. Or spin your torque convertor to line up. Engage one bolt by a couple threads and do the other 2. then loctite the threads and tighten. As you tighten the torque convertor it will pull towards the flexplate.

answer was located on “team chevelle” I think, website.
