anyone running Flexzilla air hose?

in the market for a new 50'er.. I know the goodyear air hose is very nice.. is the flexzilla better?

I've got two of the 3/8" x 50' hoses. I've had them about two years and so far so good. I'd rather have them than the plastic ones Dad has and they are easier to deal with than the rubber ones I have to deal with at work. I've had 135psi on mine and they've held fine.

Yeah mine has sold me on them. Had it a year or 2. Will be picking up a second for longer reach soon

I have both, the flexzilla is an awesome hose. I am needing a longer one and i will be going with a flexzill when I do. The goodyear one on the other hand is about 2x heavier and has withstood much more abuse to being driven over a lot. I use the goodyear one when using in a high traffic area.

also my flexzilla use report is : I sanded all the paint off the short box for my 2wd build .

lets just say holding a sander/da and dragging a hose along with it was hard with reg hoses for long use.

the flexzilla hose in the mix you almost didn't even notice the hose on the da as its so light and flexy . hands down best option in my opinion.

I have a 25 footer I bought to use at work. Love it but had to teflon tape the threads to get the fittings to seal.

Been looking at these as well. Good to see the topic come up.

My local supplier has them in varied lengths and on auto retracting spools.

EDIT, also have a flexzilla garden hose.

when I got the new quincy compressor, I needed a new hose.. so I got the bright idea that I only would need a 25' for my 2 bay garage...... well, I constantly find myself bringing home one of the 50'ers from work so I can get air outside...

not to mention 25' works ok in my shop when you don't have anything obstructing the way.. but by the time you go around a vehicle, mower, etc it's always a bit lacking... I was gonna just get a 25 to add on to the goodyear one, but now I'm like screw it, i'll go with the 50' like I should have in the first place and make the 25 a "road" one...

in my shop, light and flexible will be much more important, than tough... so the flexzilla sounds like the ticket.. I have no complaints about the goodyear stuff, excellent hoses.. heck, we just replaced our 2 ancient ones at work this week with 2 new goodyears.. but I'm gonna go for the 50' flexzilla next week for the Lab here...

i'll update this down the road with my review...

I use alot of 15'ers at the shop. We have air outlets all over the place and its nice, not to have all the extra hose to go but a few feet from the outlet.

Same deal though, getting out the back door causes me to collect up alot of hoses and connect them together to make the reach.
