Flip My Lid

:confused::confused::confused:

If you're asking how to flip a front axle to change it from driver to passenger drop (or vice versa) you can't because the axle will drive the wrong direction (i.e. your front axle would be going backwards while the rear was going forwards).

lots of custom work.

Yep, there's your answer. Find a way to fuse the hood and fenders together and then figure out a hinge in the front and a latch system.

This is really more of a show truck type thing which will make finding information here a lot tougher.

I like mine :D. I'd hardly call it a show truck... I started making one out of steel and had it mostly done. Then I got a fiberglass one given to me from a retired garbage truck.

Word to the wise... don't try to push fallen trees with the glass.... CRUNCH!
so now I need a new one. Or develop mad skills at glassing...

Not a lot of info on this; I've been thinking about it for my towrig, and I'm not entirely sure that there's a compelling reason to do it.

Some C60 and like (i.e. medium duty) Chevy trucks have a tilt front clip which can be mated to our trucks. How easily, I don't know.

The major issues are radiator mounting, where to put the battery(ies), and inner fender wells.

Oh, and my crappy sheet-metal welding skills :haha:
