If I flipped a Dana 60 and put Reverse Cut gears in it, would it work right? I know oiling would be an issue, but that can be dealt with. My mind just farts out on me when I think about the directions and whether you are running on the coast side or proper side. I'm talking in Rear applications by the way.

Reverse cut doesn't mean reverse rotation. It means that the gear is cut backward so that when you are moving in a forward directoin you are not running on the coast side of the gear which is weaker then the other side.

Do it and just run Reverse for forward and Forward for reverse and you are golden!

Get a reverse rotation marine engine, that'd make it run the right way. :D
