What is the best way to weld in new panels? Overlap with rosete welds or a butt joint? Thanks

it usually depends on size, and what area of the patch... unlike exterior sheetmetal, I tend to like overlaps on floors due to foot stress, etc... but for small patches and certain areas I'll do butt joints.. just make sure you seamseal any joints..
