Because of my 37" tall tires the axles are 17" off the ground. My 3-Ton floor jack maxes out at 20" of lift. This was getting my tires off the ground only 3" with the floor jack maxed out. I built a 6" extension for my 3-Ton floor jack using some 24X1.5 MM all thread and a length of 2" Dia. tubing. This gets my truck up to 9" now at max lift.
