Floor Mat Recommendations

Hello - I have a 1983 K5 Jimmy that I just installed all new carpet and seat covers, now I'm looking for some decent floor mats, any suggestions?

Saw these on ebay and they seem pretty reasonable priced:

You get what you pay for. I've seen those at walmart, they are soft and not that deep.

I've LOVED my husky Heavy duty floor mats.

I don't like the liner style, as i feel they create puddles.

They aren't cheap, but last forever. I'd get the 92-94 year style for our trucks, my 88 style ones have a weird curve on the passenger side that doesn't' belong.

Do you think the 92-94 classic style Husky would fit my 83? The sell them for 83 but only in black, I need grey

The ones in the top picture?

Yes. Order for a 94.

I have the 87 fit ones, and the 94 fit ones fit better for some reason.

i wish weather tech made some for these trucks! i love them i have the huskys in mine there ok they just roll up when the doors hit them which sucks.

The liner ones, or the hd floor mat ones?

Zero complaints about mine.

In this rig, or my last 2.

The liner ones . Protection wise there great but just the edge by the driver's door

Anybody have a mat in the rear of a k5 like the link the op posted?

That would be nice to find a good fitting one. Prevent fluids from leaking directly onto the carpet (as that's where I keep all my tools and extra fluids)

I agree, the weather tech's in my Tahoe are awesome. Molded tray design but they drain out at the door threshold.

I cut an old school rubber truck bed liner for the back of my burb.

It dominates. So durable, never worry about tossing anything back there.

Then sweep it off, and lay the air mattress down.

I gotta find something. My new carpets so dirty already lol. I want to do a really good cleaning and lay down some matts.

Used matt on craiglist. I cut holes for the 3rd seat mounts, so it runs through there.

just skimmed the thread, but yeah, rubber truck bed mats rule for the back.. just buy the big universal one and cut to fit... I have em cut to fit for the front too.. just the flats, no trans hump..

I think I'm going to try the cheapie multi pack from Ebay. If I do, i'll post a review. I don't need anything fancy. Basically just cover up the hole the PO cut out to get at the fuel pump and keep my dog from burning himself on the trans hump.

My work has all of the sudden blocked ebay so I can't verify which set this was....
I bought the 4 piece set and am happy with it. It came with the 2 front mats, a one piece rear mat that straddles the trans hump and the rear cargo mat. It's better quality than I expected. For $29.99 it can't be beat. My k5 has no carpet. I really just wanted something to cover the hole in the cargo area where PO accessed the fuel tank ( I repurposed the old CA license plates as a half ass cover), and something to help keep my dog from burning himself on the trans hump. So I accomplished those two things and got floor mats for the front to boot. Keep in mind, Ive got a beater, so my expectations are low, but I think anyone would be happy with these for the value. The rear cargo mat will take a beating, but for the money it's replaceable as needed. It can be purchased separately at $20 I think. I'll post some pics when I put them in. I'm letting them bake in the sun to get some of the plastic smell out first!
