Haha I know it's a lame topic but..... My factory floor mats ain't cuttin the mustard. What are some good all weather options?

I've got a set of Weathertech's in my Dodge - great mats, perfect fit.

Im assuming you have a K5.

I have my interior line x'd but wanted some kind of rubber matting.

I "borrowed" one of these industrial floor mats from work and cut it in 1/2 it is the perfect size for the K5 Floor, it fills up the whole area and doesnt slide around, plus being 1/4 - 1/2" thick and has holes, all the dirt and sand falls thru, so I basically always have a clean surface, being my interior is line x'd I just remove the mat and vacuum the sand and dirt.

If you have carpet, this wont work out very well. :D

Last I checked they didn't make any for our squarebodies

I have 90 Sub, I don't plan on bed lining the inside because this is a daily driver. I need a floor mat that will hold rain water n snow and not spill like my stockers.

I have ones from the part store for 30 bucks that fit good and have a lip like the weather techs. When it gets full of crud dump it in the trash and spray it down with a hose.

I have Canons, sort of like the Weathertechs. They're discontinued and I checked to see if Husky makes them. They don't for our body styles. Dammit.

I'm retarded. My Canons are Weathertechs. Just checked and they're still available. Think I'm gonna stockpile a few mats now just to keep on hand.

hmmm, got me thinking.. I'd like to eventually get carpet mats for Mutt when I redo the carpet in black hopefully next winter..... was hoping to find some quality rubber backed ones like i had for my chevelle back in the day.. not cheap, but good ones none the less..

kinda like these GMC ones, but I want black with the red "GMC" letters in the middle... can't find em.. they could really be some somewhat universal ones too.. have to do some more searching...

I hate the catch-all tray style matts.

I've been very happy with my Husky heavy duty style ones.

They make them for these trucks.

I like this style. I wonder why for the heavy duty ones it says 2nd or 3rd row seating? Maybe they're universal. They would of course have to be flipped sideways to work right.

I like the carpet ones but not for the Sub. I'm contantly getting in n out with grease or dirt on my work boots. So I need something that'll hold up.

yeah, sorry, didn't mean to hijack.. just kinda talking to myself again... :doah::haha:

the weathertech name seem to be the prevalent while i was looking around..

but I bet my flat, cut to fit ones from the front of my K5 could be used over carpet.. it's a flat piece of ribbed truck bedmat... like protecta or something.. i mean it wouldn't act as a basin per se, but you can certainly pull it easy peezy and rinse it.. thus why it goes on the steel floor now..

These are what I have in my '98 Jimmy. I love them.

Just wished Husky made them for our older trucks.

They do make them for our older trucks.

BUT, that being said, the 89-98 Style covers better.

Order the 89-98 style. The passenger side fits way better.

I can see why the passenger side fits better: the driver side is too wide. I was hoping for the same matching size for both.

My Weathertech Canons are both the same size and fit perfect. I found some on eBay but will keep looking for a lower price. The average price for them is still around what I paid for mine back in like '96 or so.

These are the '88 on up mats you were talking about.

Husky shows these to fit our trucks:

Puke! I hate these. I ran these in a '95 Z71 once and the lips/edges kept bending over and getting smashed in the door. They lost their shape and wouldn't hold any snow or water in.

I want the first pic of the Huskys for our trucks but they don't list them at all. They just need to be both the same equal sized.

I had those in my 67 impala Paul. Nice with embroidered Chevrolet in the center. How close would a car floor may kit fit. Pretty close to the same size. Got mine from chevy duty years ago for that car before I sold it to buy my 72 blazer.
