No new updates its been a slow few days. I just wanted to put something in so yall dont think this was a flash in the pan and Im over it. It is still in planning, and all that has been posted above is still whats happening. OCF in mid Nov. As soon as things become more final I will start a new post w/ the actual plans.

I have rounded up 2 guys from the town I live in, 1 for positive and the other is not sure yet. Neither 1 has a K5 but........

thats bs i was at a gt with the owners of the club it is not going under and you see hopw i am what keith ?????

I have rounded up another K5 to join us. He is one of the tool guys that I buy from. Maybe hell tow his K5 w/ his Mac Tools rig and well have an unlimited source of tools!

OK its official, the run will be held the weekend of * drum roll * November 16-18. 16 is a Friday, and will be a day to make the ride and hang out if you can be there, Saturday will be the first real day. I personally am not sure if I will go up on Friday evening or VERY early Saturday morning. I will most likely get out of work early and head up on Friday afternoon.

I hope this date works for everyone wanting to come, I said mid Nov, and that weekend is the middle of Nov. I hope nothing changes at this point. I will w/ any luck, make a run up this Saturday to do a check out of the park, and campgrounds, and see if I need to reserve the campgrounds.

NOW! MAJOR MAJOR THING! I need a head count of who will be there and how many will be w/ you, by Nov 10! This is very important, because if we will be over 75 heads, I need to pull permits or we can be tossed. There will be 10-15 in the group going w/ me, I need to know about EVERY person going, kids included. Not a truck count I need a people count! I dont think I can make this much more clear as to what I need, and by when. I will do my part, if yall do your part. Not trying to be a jerk, I just dont wanna get kicked out.

If I have a confirmation of 50 or more I will get the permit incase someone can make it at the last minute, or you have more friends come along than you expected. Its all good bring as many as want to come...K5 or not. I know some of yall will be traveling quite a distance, and wont want to go it alone.

I have gotten exactly "0" feed back from anyone for suggestions. PLEASE start sending ideas!

I think I can make it, depends on date. I am a UM Hurricane Season ticket holder and hopefully it doesn't interfere. I have been to RR, but not Ocala. Also I have 3-5 trucks that could come but not K5's, still big and mostly crazy!

Well you and my wife would get along great, She is a HUGE 'Canes fan! LOL!

The run will be Nov.16-18 that is a Friday thru Sunday.

I have not been to RR but I will be going soon. I have seen tons of pics from RR, and will prob buy out there so maybe the next run will be there! My thinking is that the way we have the places to go closing it will be good to be an owner there so that I will always have a place to take the kids to ride.

i live in jax fla i would like to ride with your club to ocala but i own a toyota , it is 1/2 chevy 4.3 350trans 208 case .if it is ok 2or 3 other people will come also. i have ridden with the ocala jeep club and south marion jeep club, i also have a winch to pull my self out after i fall into a 44 rut .
 
Hey Grumpy! Come on along. This is not a club ride its just a bunch of us getting together from here. So if your registered w/ CK5 you can come, and bring along friends. The are a few other members from Jax, you could meet up w/ for the ride down. All the info you need will be in this post and the post about gear you have and will bring and what is recommended to bring.

at this time i dont see any reason why sophia and i shouldnt be able to make it.
the k5 is almost 'done' and i will be going to the fl4wda meeting in oklawaha oct 20th.

Well its starting to look like Im not gonna be ready now! I still hope to be, but I just dont think I can pull it off. Worse comes to worse I may have to ride up w/ someone. I still have too much stuff to do to get my Blazer done and really ready to go. Plus I still havent got any miles to speak of on the Blazer yet so it is a totally unproven rig, even on the street! Ill keep planning to go, but my Blazer may be house bound.

Im still working on it and have most of the issues taken care of!

I am trying to find places in and around Ocala to go also. RedDwarf found a killer web site that he sent me, and I have sent him an E-mail to find out where in Ocala the pics were taken.

Oh well theres still plenty of trails in ONF.

I was hoping to go up there this weekend but that doesnt look like it will happen. Its not totally out yet but its not looking good for this weekend.

On a personal note, a few more nights of tweaking and mine should be ready to make the ride.

As much as I hate to say this I am out. The Blazer is ready, Its that my Grandmother was diagnosed w/ cancer 2 weeks ago. It is moving hard and fast, and at the last time she went to the Dr. she was down to 10-12 weeks. Thats providing that her heart can take the Chemo she is going thru this week, starting tomorrow,(Tuesday) and she has 3 rounds this week to go thru. From what I have been told the Chemo treatments are BRUTAL, and her heart is weak.

I am real close to her, and if I get the call to get to her and I cant I will never forgive myself.

I am VERY sorry, but there is no way I can make it now. I have been doing all I can to get the Blazer ready, and it finally is, and I have done my best to not let Nana's cancer get to me but she is getting pretty bad, and I have to stay local.

Again, I am sorry. Please pray for her to atleast be comfortable, she is in quite a bit of pain.

I hope the rest of you make it, and have a great time. I will be thinking of ya'll from Dade City. If someone else wants to do the write up, go for it. I would like to see how it went. E-Mail me atleast and tell me all about it.
