darn thing is vibrating bad and it not on the outside of the muffler. climbed uner the darn thing and felt the muffler itself and there is something flopping around on the inside.

Anyone ever had this happen?

Don't you have a catalytic convertor? Sometimes. Those shit the bed and send pieces down stream.

no cats for me, hooker headers, hooker competition exhaust kit with flowmaster mufflers.

OK good!

I keep hearing flowmasters quality has taken a nose dive.

It probably just caved in. How old are they?

MagnaFlow or dyno max have always been a good buy for me. Also summit makes there own mufflers and damn they sound good.

At 29 bucks a piece that's what I'll be running.

haha ya might look into that, and they are 20 years old lived on 3 cars

those summit mufflers are a darn good deal!!

Walker makes some stainless ones that are reasonably priced FWIW. No idea how stainless holds up to combustion byproducts vs. aluminized stuff in the long run, but IMO the cost difference isn't that much.
