o, i never knew that. got any links or pics of the mufflers you are talking about? magnaflow? gibson? i dont thgink flowmaster has a bottle type muffler

Flowmaster does have a bottle typer muffler its called the hushpower r sumtin its bout the same size as a glass pack... but its made for the oldschool hot rods

o the hushpower? i have heard them and i do not like them at all, i am curious to hear the new super 40's i heard they are alot deeper and less raspier

im supposed to get a 40 series muffler put on sumtime this week... the guy was supposed to order it today ill tell ya what i think when i get it!!
Flowmaster lost their patent on the 40 series muff. so other companies made ones exactly like the 40s and theyre cheaper soo id rather have the flowmaster name on my exhaust sys. and not some cheap clone. u kno what i mean!

yea are u getting regular 40 series, delta flow or the super40?

well i just got home from getting my exhaust done today, got the super 40 and i love it, i was running a regular 40 series. its not that much louder, but its a lot deeper and "meaner" sounding..i'm glad i got it..oh and with my sm465 in second gear and going through town at 2500rpms i set off car alarms, thats always fun

hahaha thats funstuff im getting regular 40s b/c the deltas arent as mean as the 40s and the guy im buying it from only gets 40s so hey its good enough for me better than some cheap glass pack!

i got 2 40 series delta flow on my 96 thunderbird, it is not loud at all but it has the best tone to it of any exaust i have ever heard

i got a series 40 put on today and now im kinda wonderin b/c my cheapy glass pack was louder... might be my cat i dunno.. o well
but it still sounds good a whole lot beter than the way the glass pack did
the gpack had a his and kinda sounded like a 4bnger
