I have an 86 K5 Blazer. I am installing a 400 sbc. I have a Muncie 465 4 speed manual transmission. I am looking for the best flywheel and clutch for it. On a budget. Not a daily driver. Gonna be a recreational vehicle. Thanks.

Not sure whats in your budget range, but ive always loved my centerforce clutches.
I have heard good things about ram and valeo also. Just make sure you replace the pilot bushing and throwout bearing as well.

I'm running a Luk now. Last one I took off was Sachs, neither one gave/have given me a lick of problems over ~25 years, just replaced the Sachs when I changed engines. I could have kept running it, and I smoked it a couple times. In looking at Rockauto Luk is the only one of the two that still offers a step up from "daily driver grade" (there are higher grades of both), and I would probably go that route if I was repurchasing. Cheap materials/design are not something you should have to deal with when running a transmission that should handle anything you throw at it.

Stay away from the three finger designs (if you can even find them still) if you want good clutch feel.

Three finger design is called a borg and beck, with the other now more common design is a diaphragm
I’ve ran Luk clutches, they are great
I also use McLeod

Your 400 flywheel needs to be external weighted
