Hey Everyone,

I'm swapping in a 350 ub my Blazer and I just removed the flywheel off the old motor and I'm going to install it on the new motor.
Should these bolts be torqued to certain spec? My Chiltons doesn't say anything about a certain torque but I find it hard to believe that they aren't.

Also, would y'all keep the torque converter on the tranny or put it on the motor?

Thanks,
Surveyor

Flywheel to crankshaft bolts: 1985 and earlier 60ft-lbs 1986 and later 75ft-lbs. I couldn't find any other info for a flexplate.

Leave the conveter on the trans. It has two tangs that must engage the pump. Put it on the input shaft, spin it a few times while pushing it towards the rear. It should click into place. It usually takes a couple spins to fully engage, also helps to go the other direction for a couple too.
