I need a flywheel for a 1990 one peice rear main seal 350. Also need dana 44 4.10 and up carriers.

When I couldn't find my flexwheel ( was a t a friends house ) I got one at the local parts store , 39.99 in stock . They show a cheaper one in the computer , but of course they don't stock it

There is a big difference between a flexplate and a flywheel.

I was breathing some high temp paint in the garage , I can be cut a little slack , I think I know the difference between rowing your own and letting a slushbox handle it :wink1:

Trevor I have a posi for a 44 that had 4.10 gears on it. or do you only want an open one. I might be getting one tomorrow. call me in the afternoon.

I'm looking for one open, and one posi or locker. I have 4.88 gears for them already but no carriers. I'll give you a call tomorrow afternoon (sat.)

I have the posi and I just picked up 2 44's this morning. most likely they are both open so you can snag one of them.

i have a flywheel laying here in usable shape that ill sell you cheap just to get rid of it :D. the only problem is, i dont remember what motor i took it off of. it was a goodwrench replacement 350 but i dont know what year it was. im pretty sure its a 1 piece seal, but dont 100%. is there any charactoristics about the flywheel i can look at? edit, the casting number is 973456n. i googled it and it said "late model 350", so id assume its a 1 piece seal

Measure across the bolt circle that bolts it to the crank, if it's 3" then it's the correct flywheel for a 1 piece rear main seal engine, if it's 3.48" then it's for the 2 piece rear main seal engines.

i measured the bolts, but im not sure where you mean to measure. from inside of the holes, its 3", but from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole, its alittle over 3.5"

From the center of the bolts is how you measure a bolt circle. That flywheel is for the earlier 2 piece rear seal engine.

I Run both flywheels, so either way, What do you want for it?
