forget the torque specs, red loctite and the 1/2 inch impact. works everytime. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
You need to specify what year engine. If you have a one piece rear main seal and just go and tighten the crap out of it you could distort the rear main sealing surface of the crank and end up with an oil leaker, torque is much more critical on those than the earlier chevy's. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

i belive it is out of an 89 silverado, like the newer body style with the center bolt heads
