This is in my Trans Am BTW...

I Drove home half asleep...which means nothing cool was happening.:D

Pull into my drive way make half a u-turn so I can drive straight out in the AM. I attempt to put it into reverse and it wont go into gear, I think "Strange" so I try 1st then the rest...Wouldn't go into ANY gear. Shut the car off, goes into every gear easily.

So, I start it in gear with my foot on the clutch...Yup makes all kindsa noises....:mad:

FML.

Atleast I got it home then it felt like giving up. haha

Worst part is that I was talking with my friend at work today about how good the car has been to me and hasnt died:doah:....AND I filled the tank..

Goodbye AR-15...you're going to be put on wait! I'll put up some pics once it's all taken apart.

Yeah hydro.

I did all the hydraulics maybe 5k ago, and I forgot to add that I checked the resevoir and it was at the correct level. It's been actin funky for awhile now, some times some gears were harder to get into than others.

Hydro clutch right? Check the fluid? I've never seen a clutch just go. Diagnose first

For sure. Was it slipping while driving? Nasty smells? Classic signs of clutch failing. I am pretty sure they give you some warning that they are heading out rather than just dying.

This seems to be more of a hydraulic issue rather than the clutch issue. Failed slave or master? I would start there since you aren't able to disengage the clutch by pressing on the pedal. Less the diaphragm fingers are bent or stuck.

Get someone to check the throw of the fork from the slave while you press on the pedal. Does it look like it is engaging fully? Maybe it needs adjustment.

The slave cylinder is integral with the throwout bearing. Which also means that I can't adjust it. Assuming the system is bled correctly it shouldn't need it. I have noticed prior that when I run the car hard (which isn't often) you can smell clutch burning. It's one of those things that's been on the list but just haven't done yet.

I could be very wrong, but I'm 99%sure the fingers either broke of are bent. I tried again this afternoon, and with the car in 1st clutch depressed when I start it the car begins to jump forward then stops. It then starts to make a clicking/rattling noise.
