What does it mean when oil comes out the end of a crankshaft. Pulled my crank pulley off and oil come out the bolt hole. The motor ran good when I pulled it. Just doin some clean up on it.

If you wipe it away does it come back? Steady drip or seep or..?

Did you pull the pulley or the harmonic balancer? There should be NO OIL in the bolt thread for the balancer bolt. If you happened to pull the balancer it could just be residual oil from the timing cover seal that fell onto the crank and made it look as if it was oil in the bolt hole.

Just pulled the bolt out and oil come out. It didnt pour out or anything. going to blow it out with air and see if it comes back.
