For those on the west coast looking for a cheap 60

whoa thats cheap. hopefully someone on here grabs it. i sure would if my pocketbook wasnt tapped out. damn taxes

Im not a sales expert by any means but from what Ive seen in the past, that rig could easily go for over $1000, keep in mind alot bids on stuff like that are done in the last few minutes.

Only thing i would suggest to anyone considering buying it, is to get a picture of the front end. It only says that it's a "dana type" axle. It doesn't specify that it's a dana 60. Too many scams on Ebay to trust the description alone.

... I have been watching that for a couple days... not much action, yet... From looking at the hubs, I would venture to guess that it still has the 60 in the front...

Yup, this was posted somewhere else and it was pointed out to me that I am a dumbass for not looking at those.:o

i was thinking the same thing. too bad there is only 15 hrs left, doubt that enough time to contact the seller and gets some better pics.
alot of people think they are selling 1ton gear just causs its 8 lug. ive seen that several times in the local trader mag.

I think everyone is just sitting on their hands until 5 minutes before the auction ends...then you're gonna see some major sniping going on.

I also did not see 10 bolt ears in the frontal shot...the hubs did it for me though, much too big for 10 bolt or D44 internals. It could still be an older D44 front with external hubs though. I'd still want a closer pic of the front diff before bidding.

it is the 205..iwas interested until I figured it was a 32 hour drive...I just posted it up becasue a lot of guys from the west contact me on 60's...i know a lot of bidders wait, but even then with a combo like this it usually is up a little higher by now...even if it goes for around a grand that is a steal..60 front 14 rear and 400/205 is well worth that..just not 4000 miles of driving:D

Says it's a 350, and that the odometer says 191,000 miles. It's 5 hours from me, hope to use that tow-bar tomarrow...

Not only could it have a D60, but a Turbo 400/205 setup. Wonder what size motor... That may be worth a trip from Tulsa!!!

I'm guessing it'll go for $1,500. But, IF the truck has a 14 bolt, d60, 400/205 setup, you'd be hard pressed to find anything like that elsewhere.

I dont think it will go too high...most search for Dana 60 in the title or K30...or Chevy...this is GMC and 3500...
I think it would have gotten ALOT higher if the seller put Dana 60 or 1 Ton or K30, etc in the title.

Good luck man!:saweet:
