I also replaced the leaking old cobbled together exhaust a few weeks ago with a new china Amazon made resonator/muffler. It's only a few inches shorter than the glass pack it had and it sounds better but instead of being quieter, it's louder... Like I should wear hearing protection now loud...
It probably needs a legitimate muffler but I wanted to keep it smaller to retain visibility. Oh well it'll probably stay like that for the time being.

I am going to turn mine just over the hood and running it out the front and down to the frame.
