Just like the title says. Will they fit? They are aftermarket wheels on a 95 F-250. Only thing is they are 16" aluminum will they clear 14BFF with disks and 3/4 10 bolt?

I am contemplating entering a mud bog this weekend and my buddy said I could borrow his 35" SSR's. Also any tips from you people that do mud races? 700/241/4.11's with 35's what would be the optimum gear to run in? It is a 150 ft pit.
TIA

I know Ford went to an 8 lug metric pattern but not sure what year they switched.

Re: Ford 8 lug wheels on GM?

99 is when they switched. The wheels will fit.

Run 4 low and drive. Don't downshift unless it bogs, which in a class that low, it probably won't. Hold it to the floor but don't blow it up.

Re: Ford 8 lug wheels on GM?

I'm not sure what year it was, but Ford has switched to a 8 X 170mm lug pattern instead of the common 8 X 6.5". You may get lucky and his rims are the right bolt pattern, but maybe not. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Cool thanks guys. I think I am gonna throw one on tonight for a test fitment make sure everything fits right. Plus 35" SSR's are prolly gonna be my next tire so I can see how they fit too /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: Ford 8 lug wheels on GM?

Yeah he doesn't want to enter cause he is scared he will break something /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif (Ford Tough) so he said if I am gonna enter I can use his tires. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They fit nice and I now hate my 33's /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, but I brainfarted we were gonna swap tires today for the bogs on Sat. My 15's won't fit on his truck OOPS /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Anyway they fit good and we are just gonna swap tires on Sat afternoon and leave his truck on jackstands...Damn he is a good friend /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

sweet make sure you get some good pics /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I liked my old SSR's because they had great road manners, good traction, and looked good. I would say get a set for your self if thats what you want. Also they wear MUCH better than the other swampers.
