Do you sell GM trucks? were is apple valley?

[/ QUOTE ]

His dad owns a dealership in AV. Apple Valley is right on the way to Johnson Valley where the Hammers trails are. It's about 3 hours from Bakersfield so however long it takes you to get here from where you are add 3 hours /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But I don't know if you can trust those so cal big dawg guys...

Well that puts it at 6hrs away soooo....I'll just stay local /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I should be able to sell them shortly, I just need to make a trip down to the DMV to get my sales license, then I can sell as many trucks as I want. Right now I work on those trucks. The new LLY's have no problems, we've had a couple odd ones come in, but for how many we sell, and are out there they seem to be very reliable. Not to mention for '05 you get the most powerful production light truck diesel available, 605 ft/lbs of torque.

COOL /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Thanks for the comments on the LLY and 05s. Whatever I end up with I hope it happens soon...

Can't speak to the driving impressions/interiors of the GM or Furd, but I can now speak directly about the CTD, since I own one. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif It's an '01 and I think it's the bomb. The interior (leather power seats, heated, etc.) is awesome, ride quality is good (consider it's a real truck with a Dana 60 SOLID axle up front) and it flat out pulls like a freight train.

Cummins rock. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I spent a year or so before decideing on which of the "BIG THREE" to buy . I did as someone stated earlier and spent some time in all three.
By far the GM's are the most "car like" in ride and soft comfort. The Ford and Dodge's seemed to offer the strongest set of rear springs/payload. I really liked the ride height of the Ford and Dodge 4WD's - makes for easy viewing down the road.
All three would do the job's that I wanted and in the end I went with what I felt was the most durrable drivetrain - I bought a Dodge BR2500 CTD H.O. 6-speed and a Dana 80 rear axle and I opted for the "Camper Special" & "Towing-PKG" .
A friend of mine has a HD Duramax with the same options and his truck will squat badly with the same tongue weight where mine will just level out with the same set up .
I have been EXTREMELY impressed with the towing capabilitys of my HD Dodge . I have no plans on replacing it for anything better.
I can tow 8,800 lbs. at 3,000 RPM's for hours on end and the engine just pulls and pur's - long steep grades and rolling hills are not a problem what so ever !
All three are great but I caution you to look at spring rates if that is important to your needs.

Let me know what your looking for and what you want your payment to be and I can work one out for you.

Oh yeah I just bought an '03 2500hd crew cab gasser. Holy crap talk about a nice truck, drives sooooo nice and tows really well.

for my Const. job we have a 02 2500 Dodge CTD 24 valve short bed 4WD and a 03 2WD 3500 hd chevy with the durmax, the dodge is loaded and the chevy is a work truck. i have drivin both alot, i like to drive the doge alot more because it is alot more comfortable but the stering is a little to loose like you cant really feel it and are always trying to keep it in your lane, the chevy isent like that, and the guy's that i work with that have pulled our bobcat on its big ole' trailer say that the chevy pulls nicer, not has more power but is more enjoyable to drive while pulling a heavy load hope this helps a little bit /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
