So about after a year, I might be back in the truck game. Should find out tomorrow if the deal goes thru. I searched on the net, got some info that said yes, some that said no, but trying to find out if the pass side knuckle on a 78/79 Ford 3/4 44 has enough meat to be machined and drilled.

yep. they have the same amount as the chevy's, but different spindle mounting patterns, and I think ball joints, but it'll be ok

Sweet. Local yard has 2 of them, and one that I could get up close and sorta personal with the knuckle, felt like there was enough meat there, but what do I know....Might go with a 60, they have like 5-6 of them, depends on what they want for one.

Trying to see what my options are...

the knuckle won't be compatible with any of the chevy components just so you know.

That I know. I would leave all the Ferd stuff on there. If stuff was missing, then would swap to GM stuff. Heard that the 2 piston calipers work little better than the bigger single GMs, but not overly worried.

Only thing I am worried about is not getting the truck!!!!!

Seen that years ago but forgot the name of it. But looks like I can use 78/79 style and be OK.....
