I'm trying to find out what my original rim width is on my truck. Specs are 96 F350 4x4 crew cab. I believe the original tires were 235/85/16s. My guess is 7", but not sure.

Trying to determine if I can safely run 285/75/16s. Thanks:wink1:

ya you can basicly run 285 no problem.

try www.tyres1.com great place for the actual specs of specific tires thay sell. click on tires and then model/brand. then click on pic at left and list will pop up on the right side.

Look at the sticker on your door or door jamb. The tire and wheel size is usually listed there.
