I have searched CK5 and the web. Where can I buy the Ford shock towers everyone uses for the front shocks? Is this a dealer only item?

you can buy them from IHonlynorth like my scout buddy did for like 65 bucks hahahah....

best bet is dealer. cheapest. Or go to the junkard and pull em off

There's an off road shop online where it's like $40 I think. I have the link on my work comp I can post tonoro

junkyard
15 bucks
go during a 50% day and hey, even cheaper, but they can be a bitch taking off

When I got mine at the junk yard, I paid $10 for the pair. What a pain in the arse that was. I will never do that again.

They are a cheap sweet mod for our rigs though.

Good luck.

I have a pair of the steel ones I'll sell for $20 plus the ride, I'm not sure if they'll fit in a flat rate or not.

We talking the stamped or cast ones? I got my cast ones at the dealer Ford #F81Z18183AA for pretty cheap. Plus not having to search and pull at PNP was worth it.

Are they new or used?

They are used, pulled them from F250's.

Which are better the stamped or cast ones?

Well I run both for different reasons. I have the stamped steel ones in the back which I like because as mentioned they would bend before breaking and they're double shear...
I have the cast ones up front which I like because they were easy to mount for my application with 14" travel shocks and it's a stud which gives the shock somewhere to pivot as it travels BUT being a stud means it's single shear.

So whatever floats your boat but I run both.
