Found a truck for the Blazer

lol ya, that is really what I need. I miss having everything at my disposal. First time swapping axles with nada, in the dirt. But I set up the truck much better, like legos  Not a great situation, but it's what I have available.

Anyone know if the E-brake cable is interchangeable between the two axles? The truck had them cut off right outside the drum.

These are about 1.5 hours drive from you.
Maybe he'll meet you in the middle.

Nah, I'll have to wait. I'm already this far, might as well keep going. Already spending too much getting nickled and dimed, and I still need to get a diff cover, new ubolts, u joints and tomorrow I'll see what the drums look like. Probably do tie rods and ball joints. I'll wait until I finish the truck and sell it off, that and my toyota, then I'll get some play money back. And get a REAL jack, and 2 sets of stands. Also, I have no way to get to Sherwood right now, the Blazer was my DD. Wife's goes to school full time, and works M/W/F/S/S. I can barely do local parts runs.

And if someone here would ever get me a price on an intake I've been asking about :D

I had my rear jack stands where you have yours in the pic, so I could roll the axle backwards. What happened with laying the Blazer down, they were tilted a bit, and I didn't like that, so I went to jack it up and fix them, and the whole thing just twisted to the left and rolled back a bit, up over my chocks. Actually I was holding it still by the high lift, but I knew as soon as I let it go it would fall, I had no choice, no one there to help, so I was at least able to slowly let it fall. I had nothing to jack it up high enough except the high lift jack, not my first choice.

And when I went to go do the truck, remembered I had all those huge rounds, and went with my bottle jack.

Check out Harborfreight.com Search item number 34924
They have the exact same ones on sale for $89.99
If you use the 25% off coupon in the Sunday paper, you can get them for $67.50
If you need the coupon code I can get it for you too, it also works online.

I know you said no, but 12 ton stands for that price is hard to pass up, it kind of makes me want to get another set.

And it sounds like you of all people, need them.

Here you go, I even clipped it for you.

That's right I'm not above clipping coupons for tools.
IMO 12 jack stands are a life long investment, and you can hand them down when you get old. And what's better than getting a good deal? :woot:

Sweet, thanks man! And I got until April 19th? Awesome. Might even visit Little Rock by then and not have to pay for shipping. Seriously though, can't believe there's not a HF here in Hot Springs. They'd make a killing.

Hey no problem. I told you I could find stuff, and you gave me something to find.
We just got our first one in Springdale a few years ago, before that I had to go to Joplin, MO. Write them a letter, who knows it might pay off.
