Picked it up today. Couldn't be happier with the deal. Time to start working on the 14bff...self install or pay a shop? I'm planning on putting in new gears also.
14ff i about the best axle to learn how to set up gears on. that is the axle i did my first set of gears on . and thay are still going 1500-2000 miles a week over 7-8 months now.

Oh man you really did good here, locker and carrier for $175.
I did have to drive 4 hours round trip to get it. So ill say $205 with gas bill. Couldn't pass it up though!

What gears are you planning on running? That should be a 4.56 and up carrier if it's truly out of a CUCV.
I don't think it was out of a cucv after looking at it. The carrier is the thinner style (5/8")

I took a good look at that thread before going to look at it. Then after i got back to confirm. I didn't have the password to the pigpen!
