The gas station by my house has had this mid 80s K5 sitting in the lot for pretty much the entire time I've lived here, like 6 years.
It's red, rear topper has sliders and a roof rack. Paint is faded really badly, but doesn't have any visible rust. Interior is faded and dash is cracked, tires suck and the rallys are a bit rusty from sitting. Overall looks like a really solid truck.
I was down there getting some tires mounted and the guy said the K5 was for sale, one of the other guys there owned it. Said he drove it there one day and the fuel pump died and he just left it. He said the guy told him $1500 but he'd probably sell it for $1000.
I'm too busy now, but I may try and grab it in a few months if my money situation looks like I'm thinking it will by then. Would make a nice driver.
