I need a 4wd drop pitman arm and would like to find a raised, with the block built in style, steering arm for my 1989 V2500 Sub with 8" of lift.

I already have a 4" raised arm and want to see if I can find the taller one to get rid of my s-shaped draglink.

Thanks

best with 8" be crossover .

but dont forget drop pitman does 2-3" range and new are over 100 bucks.

raised arm with built in block better but lots of leverage on 3 bolts in knuckle.

dont do the add in block to much movment points.

when done you need slight drop in drag link from pitman to steering arm . not level . or it wont steer right.

also check with this guy he might be selling his pitman arm if he goes diffrent direction . http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306525

I have heard some bad things about the blocks, so the built in block seemed marginally better. I had a nice crossover setup and sold it to Deuling cause I thought by burb was going away. Wish I had it now though.

I am wondering if I do both the raised steering with the built in block and the drop pitman what kind of steering characteristics I would have. Hopefully not worse than the drop draglink now. Something is off with this rig. I did find that the lower steering column bearing was shot.

Thanks for the potential pitman arm contact.

Found!!

Hi. Actually I did end up getting one from jamber2541. I have neglected to update this post though. Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. I am hoping that it will work better than what I have now, but not going to get to it a week or two it looks like.

Thanks again and have a god one!

Did you ever find a dropped pitman arm? I've got one I only ran for about 2 years. I've got one HERE for sale.
