found my new engine

Man watching that vid reminds me of driving my Malibu with the manual v/b.....

Would need one hell of a tranny to hold up to a 2k horse motor. But if you have 93k to spend on a motor, don't think getting a tranny to hold up will be a problem....

From what I have heard from the IHRA guy's that run these monster motors the biggest restriction are the valves...

they can only make the valves so big to fit inside the combustion chambers before they would hit the block and that they become the limiting factor in the engine...

mega cubes....but they can't get the air in and out of the holes....:eek1:

Still,,,, anything above 700 CI is a bad ass motor...:woot::woot::woot:

OK then my engine would be badass then and it won't cost me a fortune either, after the rebuild it will be about $10K and it's 12 litres which is about 800ci
:D
It will be in my tow rig though, too heavy for my K5:dunno:

You just described almost every piston engine that exists. They said what, 2.725 intake valves! I think if they are making over 2000 hp, which is over 2 hp/cube naturally aspirated, they are doing just fine. Although assuming the same stem size, the left over area is about 97% larger than a 2.02 intake valve from a SBC, and this engine is over double the size of even a 400. So the ratio is less I suppose, but it seems they are still doing pretty well.
