is the truck driveable enough to make sure the trans works? how much?

The person that I bought the truck from bought it just for the motor and then sold it to me so one would assume if the motor was good but I don't like to assume. I would like to get 200 for the trans,converter and transfer obo.
what are you going to do with the rest of the truck?

I have a th400/208 package I am installing in my blazer here one day soon.

when do you want to do the swap? let me know where and when and I will be there with tools. thats exactly what I want. a tranny I know works. that way I can build my current one the way I want while I wheel the piss out of my truck.

What i wrote was we are pulling my 700r4 in my blazer and i am giving it to him. then installing the th400 into my blazer.
the swap should be basic bolt-in. i have all the parts. the only thing in question will be driveshaft length.

I can see the 700r4 has a lower gear ratio. I am choosing to go with the th400 becouse of strength and realibility. I know alot of people say you can build a 700r4 or they have never had problems, but I just prefer the th400.
So we will see.
