Found me a 465/205 combo and am wanting to know if $300-350 would be a good buying price. Friend of mine has it and i'm looking at replacing the 465/208 i got in my 83 anyways. Figure since i'll probably build it and my blazers already got the same setup it couldn't hurt ;)

Thanks

saw one posted in the for sale section here, for $75.00!!! unfortunatly it was in CA, already sold now. $300 ish is what they tend so sell for around here sometimes cheaper, not much more though.

right on. Think i'm gonna talk to him now and give him the money. Not like i can't have spares ifi don't use them.

While i'm out i'll just go buy some tires too

I paid $250 for my 465/205. And the 205 is a slip yoke version. Plus both leak really bad (at least the front of my gas tank and rear axle won't rust). One the other side of the coin, someone gave me a 465/205 with a cracked adapter. Both look very clean and seem to shift smooth.

i sold a slip yoke combo from an 84 1-ton for 275.00 with everything there a couple years back. If he throws in a drive line slip yoke or driveline itself it could be worth more.

wow that's funny... if you find them around here, they're $500... T400's and 205's all day long for $100... Dana 60's run about a grand, 14 bolts about $300...

Man i need to get out of Buffalo...

hmm... i got 2 465/205 combos im not using. one is a slip yoke one is not, both awesome condition and i was going to ask 200 a set...maybe i could get more?
