FOUND - THANKS ALL.

Looking for an 80 or earlier (I think back to 73 will work) guage cluster bezel with the A/C outlets. Wood grain prefered. Good condition. Send pics. so I can make sure your idea of good condition is the same as mine! :wink1:

They are the same from 1973-83 basically, but the wood grain was found mainly in the earlier years. I know I don't have wood grain, I have black and black with chrome. Just don't remember if the AC versions I have also have the wiper switch on the dash or not. But I know they are in good condition or I would not have saved them.
 
They changed in 81 when the dash pads changed. There is an 81 bezel in the truck right now and it protrudes past the dash pad. Sit them side by side and look at the depth of the guage cut outs and the mounting screw lugs, you'll see the 81 and later are deeper.

I believe all 80 and earlier dashes had the wiper switch on the dash (that changed in 84 like you said). Let me know what you have (color wise) in the thinner, 80 and earlier style. George has one in woodgrain, but says it's faded. I haven't seen a picture yet, but, if it's too far gone, I might settle for a black / chrone one.

I have 2 in ok condition. I'll have to check to see if they're AC or not.

The woodgrain dash is found on 75-77' k5's.
78-80 had stainless.

The woodgrain must go back atleast to 74, the picture I took is of a friends 74 Burb.
