In your nightmares...
I found a local guy who owns a Military Blazer. I got talking with him and he really doesn't care about the bumpers. SO... I am going to try trade him for some stock bumpers.

I have a couple questions... Are there going to be any issues with putting civilian bumpers on a CUCV? Brackets? Frame design? Anything you can think of.

And then also, I need to find a set of serviceable bumpers for an 84. SOOOO.. anyone local got a set I get from ya. I trying to keep the costs down so I am looking for deal that works with that scenario.

Thanks for the help...

CUCV bumpers are the same as civvy ones for 81-87/91, except they have the square holes for the shackles cut in them.

Now, if you wanna put them on a 73-80 that's a whole other ballgame.

Well my dilema has been solved. I found bumpers at a local truck salvage for $100 bucks with all brackets and such. I am going to do the swap for the guy and then I am going to do some custom work to the cucv stuff and install them on my 89 Burb. So this whole thing is comign together nicely.

Thanks for the info.
