whent there with a friend to pick up some parts for his. then he said thay have a HUGE colection of buildings full of old stock gm parts. so i asked for a grill for a 89-91 gmc with quad lights.

look what thay had for 85 bucks cash.

the junkyard in our town is run by a couple of crack heads. when you take something and ask for the price the guy is like "uuuuuhh....5 bucks". or "ahhh gimmi a hundered bucks for em'"

and i might have found a 60 for around that price also. at a different yard.

Found a Dodge one there, but the yard I got the $40 GM 60 was Lantz's. There is alot of good parts there, but they have changed personel, so things are run differnetly now. Haven't been there since it changed....But don't go there to find a 60, you won't, Bub knows that I look for them and he tells me when they get them!! And I have dibs on the yardtruck.

The junkyards here in Las Vegas hold on to their sh!t like it was gold. I called this one place, and asked them if they had any transfer case stabilizer brackets for an NP205. The guy said yes he did, but if I wanted it, I would have to buy the transfer case, transmission, cross-member, skid plates, and drive shafts if I wanted it. I told him I could buy those brackets all day long from the dealership for $30, and you want me to buy all that just to get the bracket. He said "yup". I asked him how much for all that, and he said about $5000. I told him he was high, and I hoped they buried his ass in his grave with his precious stabilizer bracket.
