What are you doing that it doesn't matter which you get? Custom stuff with the splined shank? Or just have both shaft options? If it doesn't matter, get the flange, they came on everything so they're super common and thus easy to replace if necessary and I like the 3R CV more, yokes not so much so on every point.

I'm having a custom flange made. I just needed the spline part.
