So it looks like I need a small lift. Though I might see what was availAble here before ordering new. Front springs need to be for a diesel.

I have a set from my crew cab diesel.
They are stock 3 leave spring.
It will sit a little higher but not really a lift.
It will be better for loading up the truck.
I'm pretty sure diesel trucks got normal stock springs. 2 leaf for the half tons and 3 leaf for the heavier rigs.
I have a set of 3 leaves from a gas crew and one from a diesel the thickness is different
Interesting. Are you able to measure the difference? Each time I've looked into replacement front springs I've found just one 2-leaf option and one 3-leaf option.

The stock springs on my truck are three leaf. Its a half ton truck. I'm just looking to pick it up enough to clear tire chains. Maybe 2" so far the only company that offers a specific diesel spring is Alcan. ORD is their distributor I think.
The m1009 or military Blazer came with three leaves front but thinner than the 1ton
