Anyone nows if its any differens between body mounts on blazer K5 73-75 and K5 76-91
I might get a chance to get My hands on a nice blazer K5 -73 body an thinking to but it one my
k5 -82.

The body mount location on a 73 k5 is in different locations for the rear mounts- vs an 82, the front mounts are in the same location on both (outboard of the frame), where as the rear mounts are inboard on a73, and on the outside for a 82- so I don't think you can just bolt on a 73 body on an 82 chassis. I have never heard of any one doing it, but that does not mean it can't be done . .... the frame for a 73 is slightly different than a 82 as well , due to the rear footwell location. So, if you want a bolt on deal for the 73 k5 tub, find a 73-75 chassis. If you wanta bolt on tub for a 82 chassis , find a 76-91 tub. keep in mind as well that there MIGHT be slight variation in the body mount bushings themselves, but I can not verify this.

You might get away with moving the body mounts on the 82 frame , and welding the right mount locations on the73 body and install a body lift?

Ok thank you for that information, I guess the easyest way is to find a 73-75 fram to put it on!

If you had to , I think that you could make it work. I know that K5s don't exactly grow on tree's where you live . If you do some measuring , and a little fab work , you could make the 73 body mount the 82 frame.

Your right there not many K5 here exept from the total rust buckets, that are in non saveable order! Might try to fab it, but its a future project.
