I'm toward the end of my frame boxing on my 91 K5 Frame and need some longer spacers for the 7/16" steering box bolts. If anyones done this I need to know where to get some tubing that will work. Trying to stay away from pipe and whenever I take the short spacer to a metal shop they give me the runaround.

Have you tried a metal supply yard? I usually walk right to the racks and pick the size of tube I need. They will even cut it to the length I need.

How long of a piece do you need and how many? I'm sure i can come up with some ideas for you once i know this info.

Me too. I think I'm going to start boxing a frame so I can swap my stuff onto/under it. My frame isn't going to last long.

I found something better. I replaced my front spring shackle hanger with the DIY4X one and kept the old sleeves. They are a perfect fit. Going to chop them in half so I have 4.
