I'm looking for the frame dimensions for later 80 early 90 blazer.

I've searched and found some at www.chuckschevytruckpages.com which helped but there is plenty of measurements missing

Bored at work so I'm making a 3d model of the frame to pass the time.

Pretty sure our Blazer is the KA109 and the first-gen is KA105. Note that this is a high-res scan of what I think is a crappy photocopy, so it's not fantastic. Now, this won't be accurate for the rear floor section, which is different for 73-77 and then 78-91, but it's a start.

I have a book for the newer trucks somewhere, just gotta find it.

Did come across this factory stuff, including interior and exterior dimensions. It's from the 1988 "Light and Medium Duty Chassis Layout and Body Builder's Instruction Drawings", as likely given to the manufacturers of utility bodies, say, but for the K5 should be basically correct for 73-91 with the exception of the floor change.

EDIT April 2011. Added all body styles to the Brochures site, see post #9 below.

For future reference, the book has the same style drawings for Suburbans, pickups, etc, so should anybody require these, shoot me a PM and I can scan 'em. It's a bit of a pain as I have to razor-cut them out of the book to get a good scan, so I'd rather do 'em as needed.

Since I was asked, I've scanned the frame and body dimensions for the majority of the light duty trucks (i.e. Blazer, Burb and pickups and cab-n-chassis, except the shortbeds which aren't in the book :dunno: )

They all can be found on my Brochures site under "Technical info" as, surprisingly, "frame & body dimensions."
