Question- 77 and earlier vs 77 and later frames (I think it's 77 when they changed the rear footwell of the floor)- any difference between the rear portions of the frames (for rear bumper mounting?) or the front portion (for front bumper mounting?) I think the only difference is the center of the frame, is that correct? Or is the frame even different at all? Thanks!

Rear bumper mounting is all the same 73-87 (91) front bumper mounting is 73-80, then 81-87 (91) IIRC. Yes the frame is different because of the footwell area so 73-77, then 78-up but i'm pretty sure there is another year split for body bushings but not too familiar on that.

I agree with all of this. I think the year split for the body bushings is 73-80, 81-87(91)

Three splits for the body mounts 73-77,78-80, and 81-91.
