Any of you guys reinforce your frame where the front spring shackle mount is..? Im thinking of plating the frame with 1/4 inch plate on the outside of the frame rail and using diy4x washers to space the shackle out so the bolt heads of the mount dont hit the shackle. I cant plate the inside since it would push the shackle too far and interupt my header collector. Any ideas on this...?

I have new fush mounts with poly bushings, grade 8 bolts and some 3/8 thick shackles. I just want it to be sturdy and not bend the frame when flexing. The truck was in an accident many years ago and the rail is a little tweaked(5 degrees)....

Well if it weren't for the accident you wouldn't see that section tweaked, the shackles are much weaker and will bend before the frame does.
Notice from factory, they only reinforce the main mount area not the shackle mount area.
