I have three questions regarding truck frames. The 72-7x? model Blazers utilized frames made of channel iron. Later Chevy moved to a box beam style frame.
1. Is the box beam fram segnificantly stronger?
2. What are the major advantages/disadvantages to each frame type?
3. Also, when taking on a restoration project, how do you determine if oxidation has weakended the fram too much to be a worthy project? (If not cracks or bends are evident, just general oxidation) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
