Does anyone know if an 89 frame will bolt on a 73 chassis without any mods? Long story...I could have a great deal...

Ummmmm the running gear will bolt up but the body will not be a direct swap. The body mounts are different in the middle section of the rig.
the whole frame shape is different in the middle...if we're talking K5.

Well, judging by your user name I'm gonna guess you have a 73 and can get an 89 frame.
If that's the case you'll need to build a midship crossmember and body mounts. You might run into some issues at the core support too. I have heard the height of the mounts is a bit different.
What exactly is wrong with the frame on your 73? It's usually the body that goes but the frames survive...

My 73 body has typical rust on the the rockers, floor pans and quarter panels. I can get an 89 for $200. So I'm figuring out how much work needs to be done.
