Looking good!
is the shark blue body color similar to the crossmember color on the frame?

Definitely following this build thread!! Wish I could do something like this. Good luck to you! Looks good so far.

The boys were home for the holidays and helped with the engine and trans install. The ORD motor mount was perfect and went smooth. As expected, the 4L80 is longer and the trans mount does not work. The new one I got does not work either so am going to have to look at having one fabricated. This was expected. My error came with being excited to have both in the truck and did not measure to confirm if the Torque converter matched to the fly wheel. It does not. Next process will be locating the correct torque converter. Learning process for me for sure.

@SMK5 looking great so far! Did you reuse the original body mounts after removing the rivets or are the painted ones in the pictures replacements?

Hey, sorry for the delay - had to travel for a few days. I will send some closer pictures in just a few. The front Radiator mount is new and the middle mount is the original. I got the from mounts from Off Road Design. Will be back in the garage this afternoon and will take pics and forward.

Hey Steve, @SMK5 thsnks for the reply. I got the front mount/hangers from ORD too. Your other body mounts just looked super clean after painting them so I wasn’t sure if they were original or replacements.

Thanks, They are original. Just cleaned them up and painted.

Did you get the new shackle from kit from ORD as well.

Alright, Had a productive day. New flex plate and trans back in, the guys at Gearstar are fantastic. Got the rear shocks mounted and headers (Thank YOU Shawn for the recommendation) bolted on.

Lesson learned, do not throw away anything when doing a build. I have a new body mount kit, and it requires some original hardware. Afternoon spent going through tubs of old parts. Have not found yet but still hopeful.
