okay so i cannot seem to pin point this popping feeling i am getting through the steering wheel. Its usually only when i make a left turn then turn it back. But also when i hit a bump i can feel something moving around. Also when i was looking for a loose steering box or cracked frame i can see the frame flexing when i go lock to lock. Is this normal? and suggestions? Everything on the front end and axle is tight. Truck has a 4 inch lift ord crossover steering, heavy duty from shackles,FUSH kit, steering box plate, and steering box brace kit.

Might want to check your body mounts. i have had popping from thos before as it unloads and loads the mounts.

ord crossover steering.. that might be the problem. make sure everything is tight as the new loads from this are pushing in a different way than the original steering. once i get around to doing the crossover on mine im going to build a triangulated brace that runs to both sides of the frame.

thanks man i will def check out the body mounts. pretty sure im guna save up or hydro assist i dont like this frame flexing.

yeah the original steering put stress on the frame in a more fore and aft motion. with the crossover you really need a brace that runs from one side of the frame to the other. Some people seem to do just fine with it. Its unfortunate that blazer frames are second cousins to cooked spaghetti.
