More people will chime in, but afaik you should be fine up to a ‘91 frame.
yaa 70's back had a change . 80's should all swap .

So , sand blasted and painted for 150 $ I'll buy it for my '85
Yep, '81-'91 is direct swap. '78-'80 can be used also, but there are minor differences. The biggest being the front bumper mounting and you have to use the 70's style body mount rubbers.
